[Strange. Edward never reacted quite like that before, did he? He pulls his hand back and curls it into a fist when it drops to his side.]

Perhaps we should first think of shelter.

There are a number of houses and apartment buildings in the village. We could find one of those.

The specifics matter little to me. Would you care to choose?

[Giving him responsibility always makes Edward happy, doesn't it? Besides, the specifics of what and where really don't matter all that much to him, and Edward should know this place much better.]

[It does make him a little happy, actually, since he has an answer for Sigmund already.]

The southern building was suggested to me, so perhaps we should try that first.

If you believe it will be suitable. [Sigmund looks at him for a moment, but decides to keep his hands to himself.]

[....Okay that doesn't make him happy.] That would take much longer, my lord. Maybe we could start walking and get settled first?

[South is... hmph. He gestures for Edward to lead. He knows where he's going.]

[Holy snap, he's leading? This really is bizarro-land again. He nods, though, and starts forward, heading down the path towards the southern end of the village. He actually doesn't know about the sixth community building, but hey, he's been told it's down there, so he's looking into it.]

[If it will make Ed feel better, Sigmund will pass him after a while and they can be as clueless as before, in a more familiar formation. Since he's sure the directions are the same now. That was a bit mission critical.]

[Edward walks in uncomfortable silence for a while, deep in thought. Finally, he speaks up again, unable to crush his curiosity for long.]

My lord... what's the last thing you remember?

[That's not a very pleasant question. Sigmund takes a few moments of silence of his own before answering.]

[So his suspicions were right. He slows his steps and shakes his head.]

It doesn't matter now. Where is this building?

[Edward pauses for a moment, glancing around, then spots the tall, squarish building in the distance and points.] There, my lord. We should find a suitable apartment there.

[Hm. An apartment. Close quarters with other people. Sigmund crosses his arms reflexively.]

[Ed tries not to sound disgruntled.] Last time we had a house, but they seem to be in short supply.

We've had worse. [Don't make that face, Edward. Your mood might stick that way.]

I can't deny that. [Sorry, Siggy, he'll probably be a little down for a few days.]

I can choose, if you would rather be elsewhere. [All alone with the Liberator, and he is sulking like... a petulant fanboy. It is absolutely baffling.]

[Long story, dude.] From the sound of things, pickings are rather slim.

Then we should take what we can.

[And he will set a good example by not whining about it. Not that Lord Sigmund the Liberator ever whines. But he will also stay silent until they get there, because Edward is oh-so-subtly off today and it is making Sigmund feel... odd. As if Edward saw him fall on his face, or the like.]
