To all new arrivals, or simply uninformed residents of the village- just as Winry stated earlier this week, we at the smithy are available for metalworking commissions. Currently we're lacking in projects, so if you have any desire for a weapon or some kind of crafted work, feel free to make a request. I specialize in advanced weaponry design and armor.

Additionally, I... request the advice of anyone who's had difficulty controlling the elements. Whether it is by way of this world's spirits, or your own world's magic- if you found it a challenge, and have since mastered the obstacles that stood in your way, how did you do it?

[Edward's going to be at the smithy for most of the day, working away on some sketches and developing new projects for the future- or present, if he gets no commissions. He's mostly designing new swords and armor.]

I need to speak with Harry Potter, if you have the time.

I also have the following requests for information:

-those versed in the mixture of medicine
-those educated in alchemy

If you have the time to answer my questions or offer advice, I would appreciate it.

I also ask that if you must visit the weapon shop today, please be quiet and don't disturb the smithy. If you need assistance, the shop has a bell.

[Edward's apparently trying to educate himself today! After Luceti decided to surprise him by leaving a lunar suppressant in his closet (and after he mulled and emo'd over it good and proper), he went to the library to see if he could figure out what to do with it- he's seen books from other worlds before, so why not try his luck? Lo and behold, one of Kiriya's research books was found, so he's spent a day or so reading. (And becoming obscenely bored. An alchemist he is not.) Still, a book can't teach you everything, so he'll be experimenting in the back of the smithy, trying to make another one- he's found some herbs, vines, and the necessary metal, but combining them is turning out to be rather tricky.

Juuuust ignore those little multicoloured smoke explosions coming out of the smithy's chimney every once in a while. He certainly is.]

My lord? Your request is finished. I can bring it back to the house with me if you like, or you could come examine it yourself.

To those who requested that items be made, I apologize for the delays- my first order took much longer than I thought it would. I'll begin as soon as possible.

My offer to take commissions is of course still open.

....

Does anyone have answers in regards to the mass disappearance throughout the village? It seems like most people have returned, but that doesn't help us deal with the situation.

[There's another awkward pause, because he feels bad about being so useless since the whole mess happened, but...]

...Katie? Are you feeling any better?

Thanks to the construction of the new training facility, it seems I finally have a job. Sir Mark has commissioned me to forge weapons for it - namely those that cannot be found in the local shop. If anyone - Lord Sigmund and those in our lodging especially - has need of me, I can be found in Sir Lloyd's smithy. With your leave, of course, my lord.

As I'll be doing a great deal of it in the upcoming days, if anyone has need of customized weapons the Malnosso haven't supplied here already, inform me of their make and I will try my best to recreate them.

...I think that's everything.
