To all new arrivals, or simply uninformed residents of the village- just as Winry stated earlier this week, we at the smithy are available for metalworking commissions. Currently we're lacking in projects, so if you have any desire for a weapon or some kind of crafted work, feel free to make a request. I specialize in advanced weaponry design and armor.

Additionally, I... request the advice of anyone who's had difficulty controlling the elements. Whether it is by way of this world's spirits, or your own world's magic- if you found it a challenge, and have since mastered the obstacles that stood in your way, how did you do it?

[Edward's going to be at the smithy for most of the day, working away on some sketches and developing new projects for the future- or present, if he gets no commissions. He's mostly designing new swords and armor.]

[ A thoughtful hum on his end. ] Perhaps there's a way to filter your power and convert it into fire. Something like a specialized piece of clothing, say a glove or some other thing. So when you use a wind spell it'll change into fire spell. [ Another slight pause as he thinks more. ]

Ah--then there's always spells which have a little bit of each element in them. Not too much fire so it'd be ineffective, but just enough to give you a subtle grasp on it. Working with those might help you build up a better tolerance and use of it. You've tried contacting Eferin correct?

In theory and practice it's definately possible! As long as the elements do not cancel one another out, of course. Fire and water cannot be mixed--at least not without a very skilled magician. [ Helios' reply will sound a bit dour. ]

I see. Hm. It might make it a bit harder, but I'm certain you'll be able to do it eventually!

Exactly! You won't know until you try at any rate. And if you'd like some help I'd be glad to offer my assistance in anyway, as I'm sure, would others.
