[So a few hours after this little mess happens, the village signposts are very much in disarray. Either they've been flung around and broken or left on the side of the path, pointing in any direction they like. Normally this would not be a problem.

Unfortunately for Edward, who has no sense of direction anymore, this pretty much means that he can't find his way home from the Battle Dome. He's been wandering around for hours now, and he's getting rather desperate.

Thus, you might stumble upon a rather pathetic looking man sitting by the side of the road, glaring at a broken signpoint. This can be anywhere. Literally anywhere. Even pretty close to the plaza, where he ought to be able to see his house.

...Yes he is that bad. Please point the poor man in the right direction.

Farms? [Edward pauses, glancing around. They have farms? ...Oh, right. Leftover from the whole... family thing. Huh.] Is that all there is to be found this way?

Well, there's also some fields and pens for animals..? I've seen a few cows, and some pigs.

[She taps her cheek now, thinking] It's pretty neat the mountains too.

I haven't seen them. [Or not cared enough to notice.] Though I wasn't actually going there now, I was just... [Hopelessly lost and wishing he knew the way back home.] ...Walking.

Oh! ...Is walking good exercise? I always hear people talking about it, but running would be better, right?

I imagine any sort of full-body movement is good exercise. I've spent a great deal of time walking across the countries of my world, and it seems like a good way to stay fit.

But walking between countries is a little further than just walking around town, isn't it?

Work-out, hm... that depends on what kind of goals you have, what you want to work towards, as far as appearance and strength goes.

[...Appearance. She giggles, and twirls in place before leaning down a little and looking up at him]

I'm trying to build my endurance and strength up.

[...Wh... why did she just do that... Edward is boggled. Is this what women who aren't war-ready pyromaniacs are like?]

W-well... running or walking- I've always assumed that the only difference is the amount of time you have to spend on your exercise. I'm not an expert on physical health, though.

...But you're big and strong, how can you not be?

[Adell goes to train daily so she just sort of assumes... Teppei trained a lot too, didn't he?]

I don't give it much thought. I exercise out of necessity because I'm constantly traveling and training, not for the sake of recreation.

But what about in Luceti? You can't travel much here.

Nonsense, you can walk for days and not run out of land to cover. Most of the mountain remains unexplored even now, and even the forest must still hold some secrets. Most of the residents here just like to remain in the village.

-Hm? It's really that big? I never thought about it like that before...

Have you ever walked across it from one end to the other?

No, actually! I went to one of the edges and back once, but not end to end.

It's a long trip. Less so now that the desert is a body of water, of course, but even so, walking would take some time.

Is it even safe to walk through the mountains though?

It's a precarious climb, so I can't say it's for the faint of heart. The forests are much safer to explore than the mountain.

As long as you don't annoy that big wolf, right?

I think so. I've never met her, so I haven't had that problem.

Mmm... I've been told she's pretty scary, but I've never run into her either.

I'm certain I've fought more dangerous enemies in my lifetime than a large wolf.

Oh, really? [Blink... but then she just smiles] I guess I shouldn't be surprised, you do look so strong, after all.

Well, I am a swordsman, so of course I look strong. [Imagine a scrawny guy trying to carry the sword he uses! how ridiculous. That never happens.]
